Town Council Vacancy - Help Shape Clifton's Future!

Due to a recent resignation, there is now a vacancy on the Clifton Town Council, and we invite residents to apply to fill it.

If you care about our Town and would like to help shape its future, please consider applying. You don’t need experience in local government. We’re looking for residents who care about Clifton and are willing to serve.

How to apply

Please send a brief Statement of Interest to the Town Clerk at clerk@cliftonva.gov. Tell us what you think matters most for Clifton and why you’d like to join the Council. It doesn’t need to be long or formal, we just want to hear from you in your own words!

Key dates

• Monday, October 26: Statements of Interest due to the Town Clerk
• Wednesday, October 28, 6:30 PM: Special Council Meeting at Town Hall, where the candidates will be announced to the public
• Wednesday, November 4, 7:30 PM: Regular Council Meeting at Town Hall, where the Council will vote to fill the vacancy

All residents are welcome at both meetings.
